This is a club mainly for poker but as I learned they had to have some casino games. When I am there you do see people playing on any of the:
2 x Live Roulette tables
3 x Black Jack tables
10 x Automatic Roulette stations (live and automated)
10 x Slot machines
(Poker table numbers vary and extend when big event is on)
Food 9/10
They always have a good selection of food. Today I tried the Chicken Broulaski – Chicken Skewers with onions, peppers and fries with a side salad drizzled with vinegarite and they were very tasty.
Communication 0/10
I sent an email several days before I was going to be attending the venue to see if I could blog while visiting but no response so cannot rate them.
Attire 5/10
I have attended the club on many occasions and before this I have never been pulled up about wearing comfortable trackies – not cheap and are rather smart not for the gym just smart and casual going out wear. I was told by the club security its club policy and not to wear them again otherwise I may get turned away.
Experience 9/10
As always I visited the club to play poker, particular the £150,000 Partypoker Live Grand Prix. The tournament ran smoothly as the guys running the events are very professional. First bullet I managed to get about average on a tough table but ultimately lost. Re-entered before late reg and found a bag with 855000 going to day 2.
When I first arrived I looked around to see if I could see any regulars playing the event but did not see many. The regulars turned up after several levels of play.
The dealers are all professional and switch around after each level.
